PFTE Tubing
Zebra conductive line tubing
Conductive or antistatic PTFE tubing is one of Fluortubing most widely sold specialties. To create electrical continuity Fluortubing uses a carbon filler mixed in the PTFE material. Some customers would like a conductive tube that is transparent, enabling the user to observe media going through the tube. In other cases, customers would like to minimize the contact of fluids with the Carbon black for chemical reasons. Fluortubing has created a tube with 2 thin conductive lines. It assures the dissipation of any static load whilst leaving 75% of the tube surface clear, transparent PTFE. The conductive lines assure load dissipation from ID to OD as well as tube to fitting. In case of a conductive outer layer, such as a metallic braid, it offers the best protection against static loads. Conductive lines can be straight or spiraling. Spiraling offer more contact opportunity for the media inside the tube than straight lines.
